After many incredible years of capturing unforgettable moments as a freelance photographer, Phil Galdys, the owner of Sailfish Photography, decided to establish his beloved company in the heart of Stuart, Florida, a place that goes beyond being just his current home base. Stuart, often hailed as the sailfish capital of the world, holds a profound significance in Phil's life. It is here where he spent his formative years and where his father ran their family-owned business in Martin County for nearly three decades. Phil has personally witnessed the growth and expansion of our charming town, as well as the surrounding tri-county area and beyond.

Phil's journey isn't solely defined by his profound love for photography; it also encompasses his unwavering dedication to serving his country. Phil is a proud United States Army veteran who served during the Gulf War era But even after his military service, Phil's commitment to making a difference did not cease. Currently, he sits on the esteemed board of directors for Southeast Florida Honor Flight, a role that fills him with immense pride. As their exemplary lead photographer, Phil has shown his unwavering devotion by embarking on an astounding 26 Honor Flights, to date, to Washington D.C. since 2015. Through his lens, he has had the unique privilege of capturing the heartfelt moments experienced by the celebrated veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam, documenting their special day in the nation's capital.
